North London
Up the Lea valley and west across the top of the city. Dense terrace converted to flats through Tottenham, Finsbury Park and Tufnell Park, the Edwardian hill suburbs at Muswell Hill and Crouch End, and the long interwar streets of Enfield behind them.

Across the water from the Newham side. Georgian Greenwich and Blackheath at one end, the Royal Arsenal and the Lewisham terraces in the middle, and some of the earliest planned interwar suburbs in London at the other.
